Because of the educative and professional experiences collected by Federico Picone since 2002 Colordesigners has become in many ways a unique example in Italy: it’s a design studio specialized in a very specific and uncommon design branch inside the Italian market and it has the will and the knowledge to meet all the demands of the public, private and professional building sectors.

Ranging from architecture to design, from the development of city color plans to the chromatic definition of merchandise, Colordesigners studio perceives color principally as a project and its activities, for both national and international clients, are always based on the most updated instruments and analysis methods.

Every project – either architectural or design – contains a fundamental, and often underestimated, phase in which the color is chosen.

In this phase, Colordesigners analyzes and interprets all the fysical, psychological, social and natural factors that control the interaction between color and man guiding architects, applicators, constructors and administrators in their choice for the right colors.

Design and Consultancy

The process of color design assigns a stronger identity to places, infrastructures and objects to create a clearer and an even more direct interaction between them, their surrounding and every one of us.

The aim of Colordesigners studio is to create, through specific color design, an architectonical or design “product” that is able to insert itself as best as possible in its surroundings and to interact correctly with man and in the same time observing and sustaining its perceptive capacities.

Training

Color design is a modern design branch analyzing and interpreting the physical, psychological, social and personal factors that control the interaction between color and man, as an individual and part of a community. Hence a richly mixed context that concerns for 360 degrees both the design world and anyone that has something to do with color, but that is still little known and explored in Italy. For that reason Colordesigners studio offers specific training courses searching from time to time the cut according to the clients’ demands and necessities.

The courses range for theory of color to design methodology and to the analysis of adequate technical instruments for the correct evaluation and management of color.
